I’m Ashley Chao — a CPA with over a decade of financial experience across some of Australia’s largest ASX-100 companies, private equity, and high-net-worth advisory.

My background is in financial planning and analysis — building the kind of rigorous, structured financial models that boards and executive teams rely on to make decisions. I’ve done that work at Vicinity Centres, Crown Resorts, and McMillan Shakespeare.

What I noticed, consistently, was a gap closer to home. Even the most successful, high-income families were often feeling financially stretched — not because they were bad with money, but because they lacked the professional-grade oversight their income level actually required.

Track My Spend was founded to solve that. Not with an app, nor with generic advice. With a structured, CPA-led cashflow intelligence service — using my 4-Pillar Cashflow Framework — that treats your household with the same rigour as a commercial enterprise.

As a Private Household Cashflow Strategist, my goal is to move beyond the limitations of budgeting apps and generic coaching to provide high-level cashflow intelligence. The focus isn’t to restrict spending, but on strategic oversight that ensures your family’s hard-earned income is actually being spent where you expect and building the future you’ve worked hard for.
